thank you. All built-in algos are implemented with Apache MXNet, so you can definitely grab the trained model in S3, load it in MXNet and inspect its parameters. I haven’t tried that for FM, but it shouldn’t be too hard :)

You can absolutely skip ratings and use only 0 (watched) and 1 (didn’t watch).
